Six players from our team, who earned the State Title in March of 2010, united once again as a team under head coach Dan Leeming to compete at the Far West Regionals in New Mexico.

The boys from our team who competed were: Tyler, Nico, Evan Y., Griff, Josh B. and Ken.

Enduring the desert temperatures between 96-98 degrees, they started off with a 3-1 win over Arsenal from Colorado.  On the second day, they beat Alaska 6-0.  The third day, they battled against Sereno from Arizona, and lost in a 1-2 nail biter.  In the Quarter Final they were matched up against a tough team from Oregon and lost 5-1.

Congratulations for earning a spot in the Regionals by taking the 2010 Washington State Cup, and by making the Quarter Finals!

Crossfire was well represented at Regionals with seven teams all advancing at least to the Quarter Finals. The BU14 team won Regionals and earned a spot in the National Championships.

The WCDA league brings together the top 24 boys clubs in the west.

Thanks to all of the players for taking the time to get their profiles updated.  Each player made their own decision about what information they wanted to be public.  The information in those profiles is what is being used to complete rosters for the various college showcase events that our team is involved in.  The various tournaments ask for different data elements, but I will only include the information you provided in your profile assuming that you want the rest to remain private. 

You have the ability to update or change your profile at any time, but keep in mind that the rosters are usually completed well in advance of an event.

The College Camp roster is complete and will be submitted this week.

The team photo and roster photos have been updated.  There are also a few candid photos from the first team practice. You can see those photos by clicking here, or by clicking the team photo link on the left. If you like to take photos or video, please let me know so we can upload them to a team share site.

The Soccer emails can become overwhelming.  To help reduce the number for everyone, please do not "reply all" to messages.  A team distribution email xfire93@jakkal.net was set up, so that Tina and Seth could contact the team with the most current email list which is centrally maintained.  You can use this distribution if you are organizing uniforms, travel arrangements, or team events in conjunction with our Manager Tina A.

If the email address xfire93@jakkal.net is included when you send an email, everyone on the distribution list will receive that email. (about 40 emails)

Important Request from Coach Seth!!!

Seth has made a request that families make sure to be in town in the week leading to the Surf Cup to be able to participate in training in preparation for the tournament.  He has asked that the boys be in town and availble to train Monday-Wednesday (and most likely Thursday)  July 26-29, with Friday, July 30th a travel day.

In addition to our regular uniform kits, we will also be selecting a couple items as a team for "travel gear".  There will be samples of all the items at the fitting in June. The items will be selected after discussing as a team.  If you have any input please feel free to contact Tina,  Right now she is suggesting the last two items on the list.  That way there would be 2 items for only $60.

1. Nike FC Jacket (same as their warm up jacket) in White or Red $70
2. Nike 1/4 zip long sleeve Training Top in Black with Crossfire embroidered on chest $60
3.  Dri-Fit Nike Polo Shirt in Black, White or Red with Crossfire embroidered on chest $40
4.  Dri-Fit Nike short sleeve training shirt in Grey (like academy has) with T-Mobile on front $20
