Important Nutrition and Hydration Tips
Start hydrating the day before a game or tournament – the boys should be drinking extra water including on the drive up to a game so they are well hydrated when they arrive
Meals the night before and 2 nights before games and tournaments are most important as far as carb loading…pasta, rice, veggies, fruit, etc. with small amounts of protein are best
