Crossfire Premier G00A-Reynolds Hosts International Friendly

March 1st, 2012 - Passing an important milestone in their development, the Crossfire Premier G00A-Reynolds team hosted their first international friendly match with the Foothill FC 2000 team, from Calgary, Canada. Organized by coach Reynolds, the evening match under the lights at Marymoor Park was an excellent display of good sportsmanship, comraderie, and of course, excellent soccer. The team from Calgary displayed noteworthy speed, athleticism, and individual skills. Crossfire needed to quickly adjust in the opening minutes, adapting to the significant break-away potential of the Foothills team, and expanding their possession-play to accommodate the full-sized pitch and 11 v 11 configuration.
Both teams played remarkably well, but it was the 2011 Washington State Champion Crossfire Premier team that carried the day, with a 3-0 victory. Many thanks to Foothill FC for making the trip, and bringing a great team with them!
