Members of Crossfire Stauber and Crum GU16 teams participated in the Donosticup 2007 held in Donostia-San Sebastian, Spain. Donostia-San Sebastian is a Basque city in the northeast corner of Spain, bordering France. Opening ceremonies were July 2 and 1st round matches started the next day. Finals were July 6th. In their bracket round, the girls faced teams from New Jersey (the eventual Champions), Euskadi (Basque), and Germany. In the "A" quarterfinals they ended up losing a hard fought match to a very good team from Belgium, 2-1. |
