FIRST RED-BULL TOURNAMENT OF THE SEASON-SAFE TRAVELS
REMINDER-MEDICAL RELEASE FORM TO SHAWN TONIGHT AT PRACTICE-SEE THE HELPFUL PACKING CHEAT SHEET!!!!
Hot of the press: Great news as we have got N.C. State Asst. Coach agreeing to give our team a great overview to entering a college program at a major university and a tour of their Wolfpack facilities. This will take place on THU at 3 PM exclusive to our team.
Here is a little handdy-dandy cheat sheet as you pack. I stole it from another team - see below ... so don't worry I did not spend the time to create it. I do have a real job. Believe me!
Also - need everyone to please fill the US-Club medical release that does not need Notarization. Just fill the info. and bring to the practice tonight. I want to be sure we have all angles covered and their CASL website does not have this but Red-bull note to McCormick just shared today does say it is required!!! I will bring blank copies just in case.
More importantly - if you do plan to check in your luggage - please please bring SOFT Duffel bags not hard shell big suite-cases. Remember the space in mini vans are limited.
Also - bring a blanket or two that can be used outdoors on the bench as the weather forecast is going to get a bit colder. Now forecasted in the high 20's at night. So, for the early game we need to be prepared. If you bring a luggage to check-in then please bring a blanket or two for the team.
What to Bring –
· Soccer gear: uniforms, etc in their Crossfire backpacks to carry on the airplane.
· Checked bags for players must be a soft-sided duffle bag (not too large) so that we can fit the bags into the vans.
· Washable laundry bag with your # in black permanent ink on outside (large enough to hold socks & shorts – not jerseys)

Hope that your Thanksgiving has been great -
The long awaited first Red-Bull tournament of the season is almost here. I can’t wait to see the girls compete and win their games. Andy has been very happy with their level of focus this past week. Also, the excitement of being at the 2008 NCAA Final Four Woman Soccer along with four other Crossfire teams (2 at showcase and 2 at Red-Bull) awaits us and will make a complete trip full of memories and stories. Please see the summary of our trip itinerary below. Let me know if you have any questions. Here are a few reminders:
- Please arrive at the AP by 10:15AM (no later than 10:30). I would like us all to check in individually but wait to go through the security check-point and on to our gate as a TEAM. Recall that your first checked luggage will cost you $15 each way and the second $25. Pack light and smart! Look for me or the chaperons if you need help. We will meet near NW check-in counter and go from there.
- The weather forecast is colder than Seattle area. Extended forecast predicts low 30’s to mid 50’s for most days. Bring warm cloths for sure.
- You need to ware your Red-Bull special Red Jerseys - see below bring all three jerseys. And need to wear your travel tops/pants during the trip both ways
- Medical release forms are DUE this Sunday .. unless you are out of town.
- Your final trip payment of $400 is due this Sunday.
