G95 Red Wins Crossfire Challenge Elite Division Championship!
The G95 Red players had a great weekend in Redmond, winning the GU13 Elite Division with a 4-0-0 overall record and not allowing a single goal! The team play was looking great all weekend.
G95 Red Makes the Semi-Finals at Diadora Firecracker Tournament in Burlington
Crossfire Premier G95 Red earned three solid wins on a long Saturday in Burlington win thier group outright and earn the first semi-final match of the season. The team scored 2 goals in each of three matches and shut-outs in two. While Coach Pat Williams was away in Hawaii, the girls were led by Alistair Shull with help from Tim Reynolds. Thanks to both coaches for helping the girls have a successful tournament and continue improving as a team. The girls & families enjoyed good weather again in Burlington - not quite as warm as the May tournament.
G95 Red Earns First Win of the Season in Skagit Cup Opener
Pat Williams’ G95 Premier team earned its first game win in the Sims Honda Skagit River Cup for the first tournament of the 2008-2009 season. After a first game loss, the girls bounced back to put more shots on goal in the second match and secured the win with a beautiful outside shot late in the second half. The unusually warm weather made it feel more like August than May.
