GU-11 Challenge Cup, Tournaments and PDL season play
Pre-Season Tournaments
Tournament highlights included the defeat of the AYSA Strikers (2-1) in the Nike Crossfire Challenge and the U-12 Skagit Storm in the Baker Blast.
Crossfire Schmetzer had a strong showing in the Bigfoot Tournament. Also played in the Federal Way Blastoff and the Starfire Spring Classic, where Schmetzer’s U-11’s played the Marysville Force and made a strong showing in their first tournament of the year.
PDL Season
Crossfire Schmetzer came in a solid second place in the PDL1-B league with just two very close losses to the first place Eastside FC White (both games 1-0). We finished season with an 8-2-2 record, tying Eastside FC White 1-1 in our final meeting.
2007 Challenge Cup
Crossfire Schmetzer, one of only a couple "B" teams to go to the Challenge Cup, made it to Elimination Round with victories over Dosveedanya Red (1-0) and the Marauders (1-0). Crossfire was knocked out in the Elimination Round by NWN Red (2-0) despite a strong showing against a very strong team that made it to the semi-finals.
