The Schmetzer 95’s played the the SSC Patriots ’95 Blue (9-4-1 D3 Gold-Titanium in 2006) in a scrimmage today at Skyline High School.  Crossfire took several early shots and scored first, but the Patriots responded quickly to tie it up.  In the second half Crossfire scored again to go up 2-1 in a match where the score meant little, but again the Patriots quickly responded to tie it up 2-2.  And that’s how it ended.

It was a good outing after a long break for the Crossfire Schmetzer team, who focused on ball control and passing, played some pretty soccer, and put a couple into the net.
