Dick McCormick, LWYSA Crossfire Premier Girls Coaching Director: Dick has coached both boys and girls teams with LWYSA since 1997. In the past few seasons his two youth teams have earned 5 state championships and one Region IV title. In addition to coaching, Dick has played and coached professionally. He has served as the head coach for the Seattle Sounders Women’s team and Assistant Coach for the Seattle Sounders Men’s team. Dick holds a USSF “A” coaching license.
Bernie James, LWYSA Crossfire Premier Boys Coaching Director: Bernie has coached boys and girls teams with LWYSA since 1997, including the 2003 BU-14 Far West Regional Championship team. He has played professionally with the Seattle Sounders, Edmonton Drillers, and Tacoma Stars. Bernie has been a member of the US National and Olympic teams. Bernie holds a USSF “A” license and has been a professional Assistant Coach and Head Coach of the Seattle Sounders.
Peter Hattrup, LWYSA Technical Director: Peter formerly served as the Crossfire Girls Head Coaching Director and has earned a USSF "B" level coaching license. Peter guided

University to two NCAA Division II Championships in 1983 and 1985 and was named Soccer "MVP" in 1985, finishing his college career at #3 on the S.P.U. all-time scoring list with 58 goals and 31 assists. Pete was the #1 draft pick of the Tacoma Stars of the original Major Indoor Soccer League ("MISL"), where he played from 1986-88, and he went on to play 16 years as a professional soccer player including seasons with the Portland Timbers, the MLS Dallas Burn, and the Seattle Sounders, and was named to All-Star teams 6 times. As a member of the Seattle Sounders, Peter was named A-League Player of the Year in 1995.
Additional training staff may be selected from our Coaching Staff and advanced players from Crossfire Premier. These trainers will be selected based on their coaching skills, playing abilities as well as their demonstrated leadership skills.
