BIO:

The following is from "The Westmont Hall of Fame members list"

"Jean-Paul "JP" Verhees helped lead the 1972 Warrior team to the NAIA National Championship. Reaching the height of his achievements that year, JP was named to the NAIA All-American team. In addition, he made the NAIA National All-Tournament Team for the third consecutive year and was named Outstanding Forward of the national tournament. In 1973, JP was voted co-winner of the Outstanding Offensive Player award, was named to the United States National Selection Team touring Latin America, and gained All NAIA, All Far West, All SCISA and All-American honors for his fourth straight year. With 58 career goals to his credit, JP is second all-time at Westmont. He went on to coach the women Warriors to their 1985 NAIA National Championship. Inducted October 1997."

Author of “Soccer: Do you know the rules,” first published in 1981. Trace Video New York. Translator / Narrator of “Soccer Fundamentals with Wiel Coerver,” a Dutch instructional film. Published numerous Soccer articles in the “Voetbal Trainer” Holland of Brazil and German National Teams during the 1994 World Cup in the USA.
