Favorite Player/Team: Thierry Henry & Chelsea Memorable Soccer Moment:

Coaching a group of players from Div 4,3,2,1 and onto a State Championship.  But the moment we secured P1 status.  A four year goal.  That was the sweetest.  I was so proud of a group of young adults to have had a dream, a goal.  To have committed to it, set sub-goals, and sacrificed to achieve each and every one of those sub-goals and goals.  There are few better lessons to learn.

BIO: A graduate of Glamorgan University, Wales, Jim Thomas brings a fresh coaching philosophy and proven youth success to Crossfire. As a player growing up in England Thomas earned his spurs at the semi-professional level whilst also representing his University to the sweet sixteen in the National Cup.

As a mainstay in the Northwest Nationals coaching stable Thomas lead the two highly touted u16 and u18 age groups to 2005 State Championship honors and Regional quarterfinal success. Graduating all 18 to university and 15 of whom will be seen representing the schools at the NCAA level, 14 at the Division 1 level. (Idaho 2, Yale 2, USF 2, Air force 1, St Mary’s 1, ASU 3, Western Kentucky 1, Mercer 1, Portland State 1 (PLU, 1)).

Between 2001-2004 Thomas also rebuilt the Roosevelt Men’s Soccer program. Inheriting a 1-13 team Thomas guided the Roughriders to three consecutive winning seasons, and two consecutive playoff berths.
