My main objective for the upcoming year is to create a positive learning environment with the intent of teaching your daughter to be the best soccer player and person she can be, on and off the field. Hard work and dedication will be expected. Ten months is a long, rigorous season, which entails a great deal of effort and commitment. Your daughter needs to attend every practice with the intent of walking off the field a better player. It is important for the girls to form a strong bond as a team; however practice is not a social event and will entail intense individual skill development as well as team tactics, formations, etc. On a daily basis I seek advice and ideas from peers, striving to become a better coach, and the same will be required from your daughter. I will be encouraging all the girls to play high school and college soccer. Generally, the players that practice their skills off the field are the players that are most successful. My long-term goal is to continue to develop a strong, competitive select team, participating at the highest level possible. I look forward to this upcoming season with your daughter. Sincerely, Pat" |
