(October 6, 2009) One of our LWYSA families is in a dire medical/financial crisis. Maddy Callahan is 8 years old and needs a second bone marrow transplant. Her family has already exceeded their annual maximums for medical insurance. Her brother and two sisters are currently playing on LWYSA teams and her dad Dan has coached as many as three teams a season.

Arena Sports is hosting a fundraiser for them on October 17th & 18th. It is a 24-hour soccer game, where teams, individuals, church groups, scout troops, or any other group come in and play for one or more of the 24 hours.
