(May 2, 2010) Crossfire Premier is pleased to congratulate BU12 Crossfire Premier B97A coached by Bernie James for winning the 2010 Washington State Championship Cup.  After playing up an aged group in the PDL Spring League at BU13 Division 1, B97 James opened Championship Cup play with a win against Evergreen B97 Green (10-0). The boys received a wake-up call in the preliminary round, though, losing away to WPFC B97 Black (1-4). They rebounded to defeat Whatcom FC Rangers (7-0) and move out of bracket where they defeated Sun City Strikers in the Qtr Finals (4-0), and Snohomish United Black in the Semi Finals (2-0), only to face WPFC B97 Black again in the Final. In the end, Crossfire prevailed (2-1) in a well played match by both teams.
