The OSSA Soccer Club is proud to announce a partnership with Crossfire Premier Soccer Club based in
Redmond, Washington effective  May 1, 2013. While OSSA will become Crossfire Oregon immediately, the official brand transition will take place over the next three to six months. This fall Oregon players will proudly wear the Crossfire blue and black kit featuring the new Crossfire Oregon logo.
 
Crossfire Premier, which launched in 1997 is one of the country’s top 20 clubs and has a national reputation for providing their players with the highest level of soccer instruction. Crossfire Premier is a Nike Premier club that participates in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy, the Elite Clubs National League and the WCDA.
 
According to Fraser Morrison, Crossfire Oregon Director of Coaching for girls, “Crossfire Premier is a brand you associate with quality and excellence. We are extremely excited for the OSSA brand to now evolve into Crossfire Oregon. The opportunities for our players are endless. At the elite level our players will benefit from their partnerships with Inter Milan, the USSDA, and the ECNL. At the various other levels our players will be able to take advantage of the wide array of camps they offer and be able to enjoy the opportunity to compete against Crossfire Premier teams at our own tournaments and up in Seattle at the Crossfire tournaments.”
 
Crossfire Oregon Director of Coaching for boys, Jim Brazeau adds, “This partnership is very exciting on so many levels. We get to be a part of one of the top clubs in the country which will allow our best players opportunities that they can’t get anywhere else in Oregon. Our coaches will work with the Crossfire Premier coaches and we will share players and resources giving our kids an experience second to none.”
 
As Crossfire Oregon grows, the focus will be on hiring the best coaches in Oregon, providing more opportunities for high level players and providing academic support as players prepare to play in college. While almost every player dreams of playing professional soccer, the reality is that only a small number of players reach that goal. Crossfire Oregon will do everything possible to help make dreams come true, but the main focus for Crossfire Oregon will be to help place players in the perfect college environment. A comprehensive college program will be rolled out in 2013 to help players find the best academic and soccer t to suit their individual college needs.
 
The Crossfire Premier Soccer Club was formed in 1997 and to this day it provides professional training and player development to qualified players helping them advance to the highest levels of play available. Crossfire Premier coaching has produced players that have risen above the Crossfire Premier levels and onto playing for Division 1 Colleges, the National Residency Programs, US Soccer National teams and pools (U15-U20), and onto careers in the US and European leagues.
 
Crossfire Premier Director of Coaching, Bernie James sums up this partnership by saying, "I'm looking forward to working with the Oregon group in what I believe will be a mutually beneficial relationship for many years"

US Soccer has decided to have a modified program for the U14 age group in the Northwest Division.  The U14 academy team will be for players born in 1999 and 2000.  The Crossfire U14 Academy team will have up to 24 players on thier roster.  The team will travel with 18 players per trip.  The U14 team will play in various tournament through out the 2013/14 season and will play in the U15 or 16 age group.  Players will continue to play on thier regular RCL teams.  The team will also make at least two trips to Northern California.  The majority cost of the travel will be funded by the Crossfire Foundation.

Basic Outline:

-          Coaches of the first team in each age will be working with the team directly below them approximately twice a month.
-          The first team coach will be watching a select number of games for the team directly below them during the season.
-          Each team in an age group will send 2-3 players to the training of the team above them a couple times a month.
-          The teams directly below the USSDA teams will now be called the USSDA Reserve Teams.
-          The teams directly below the ECNL teams will now be called the ECNL Developmental Teams.
Our ultimate goal is to have teams in the older age groups that are primarily made up of players that were developed within the Crossfire Premier System.

Crossfire Premier was once again ranking as one of the top youth soccer clubs in the United States by Soccer America Magazine. We were ranked as the #18 team in the country on the girls side and #19 in the country on the boys side. Crossfire was one of only seven clubs in the U.S. to be ranked in the top 30 on both the boy’s and the girl’s sides.
 
Criteria: Soccer America selects the top 30 clubs based on success of their teams in national youth competitions over the last three years (2010-12) and the selection of their current players to national youth teams and other national youth events in 2012.

Crossfire Premier Soccer enters first US youth soccer club partnership with Inter Milan ( F.C. Internazionale)

   

Redmond, Washington (November 5, 2010) – Crossfire Premier Soccer Club, Washington State’s largest premier level soccer institution for boys and girls under 19 years of age, announced an exciting new and exclusive international club relationship on Thursday, November 11th at the Chihuly Boathouse on North Lake Union. The announcement introduced a partnership unlike any other currently in existence in the region that will offer players and coaches access to- and involvement with - one of the top soccer clubs in the world. Representatives of Crossfire, Nike and F.C. Internazionale were in attendance at the announcement to outline the relationship and the benefits to players, coaches and families in the Northwest. The relationship will be focused on coach and player development. Crossfire Premier coaches will have the opportunity to travel to Italy and study with the Inter coaching staff. Inter coaches will join Crossfire Premier for selected events to work with Crossfire coaches and players.

60 Acres North
 

60 Acres is located in Redmond, WA is located in east King County (roughly 15 miles due East from Seattle).  The complex is just north and across the river (east) from the Willows Golf Course and south of 124th Ave NE. Some maps refer to this park as Sammamish River Regional Park.  The complex includes sixteen well maintained grass fields for youth soccer, youth camps, adult leagues, ultimate frisbee, and local and regional sports tournaments.

The Burke Gillman Trail (a popular hiking and biking destination) connects the Eastside’s and Seattle’s many popular recreational, dining and lodging facilities.  Parking in located on the west and south sides of the complex.
