Bill May (8th year with Crossfire)
Goalkeeper Coaching Director
Bill has been coaching goalkeepers for over 12 years and has been Goalkeeper Coaching Director at Crossfire for the past seven. He was Goalkeeper Coach at University of Washington for four years and since 1998 has run several clinics along with private training. He played keeper at University of Washington followed by one year at San Francisco Bay Seals and two years for the Seattle Sounders.
Jimmy Ward (2nd year with Crossfire)
Goalkeeper Coach
Returning for his second year to the Crossfire GDP, Jimmy Ward brings four years of playing for Seattle Pacific University and one year for the Seattle Sounders to his passion for teaching young goalkeepers. Jimmy coached for one year at Salem United Soccer Club and has held private goalkeeper trainings since 2000.
Chris Eylander (2nd year with Crossfire)
Goalkeeper Coach
Chris Eylander, a Washington native and Sounder goalkeeper, started with GDP the last few weeks and will be with us for the season helping to train both the Premier and Select groups. Chris was born in Sumner, attended Auburn Riverside High School where he earned Washington State Gatorade Player of the Year honors in 2002, and went on to the University of Washington. At UW, he served as co-captain in his junior year and was selected to the First Team All-Pac-10 and Pac-10 All Academic teams. In 2006, Chris was drafted by the Seattle Sounders where he is now playing his first professional season.
Eric Christensen (1st year with Crossfire)
Goalkeeper Coach
Eric Christensen, a Washington native, has been coaching goalkeepers for over 13 years, and will be joining Crossfire this season to help train both the Premier and Select groups. He was Goalkeeper Coach for both the men’s and women’s soccer programs at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo for two seasons after playing for the Mustangs for four years. As a player, Eric played in the NCAA Final Four, won a state championship at Cascade High School and also participated in two seasons of ODP goalkeeper play.
