Crossfire Premier players from U-9 (2008) through U-14 (2003) may now enroll in our new Club Partner program with Coerver Coaching for additional, regular skills training. The training will take place on two Friday evenings per month, per age group, with the program running from September through May.
Families can register for the age appropriate program in the locker at https://register.coervercoachingnw.com.
Sessions will be 1.5 hours in length on Friday evenings and coached by Coerver Coaching NW staff, led by director TR Stoneback. Crossfire Premier U.S. Soccer Development Academy and ECNL players will also be on-hand to assist the Coerver coaches and provide demonstrations and support for the younger players. Each registered Crossfire player will receive a training kit and membership to the Coerver online Player Pathway. Cost is $450 for the entire program.
The cornerstone of this program’s curriculum is accelerated technical development, and the Coerver coaches will utilize the Coerver Method of ball mastery and graduated pressure to increase technical competence, while playing carefully selected games to build functional success. Players will be given technical building blocks and encouraged to take bold actions in developmentally-appropriate games, fostering creativity and learning small-group tactics and principles of play in a fun, challenging atmosphere that rewards bravery and risk-taking.
For young Crossfire players also taking part in AS Roma USA Academy ADP, Coerver technical training for those age groups will be offered on alternate Fridays, so players are allowed the opportunity to do both if they choose.
