U-17 ’90 MEN’S NATIONAL TEAM STARTS BALLYMENA TOURNAMENT WITH WIN AFTER TRIP:

The U.S. Under-17 ’90 Men’s National Team went unbeaten during their 10-day training camp, going 3-0-1 in their four matches, and began the 2006 Ballymena International Tournament this week with a 2-1 win against in .

On Saturday (April 22, 2006), the defeated the Tranmere Rovers, 2-1, in their final match in , getting goals from Kirk Urso and Temi Molinar.

Earlier in the week, Ellis McLoughlin (Crossfire Premier) scored both goals in a 2-2 draw against in their lone international.

McLoughlin (Crossfire Premier)  also scored two goals against Liverpool to spur the ‘90s to a 4-2 victory three days after their 5-2 win over a Northern England regional team.

The traveled across the Irish Sea into on Sunday (April 23) and will kick off Group A of the Ballymena International Tournament on April 24 against before facing on April 25 and on April 26.

The U-17s will then play a placement match on April 28 against one of the four teams from Group B – , , and
