FAQs
Are only good golfers able to play? No, we have three types of golfers participating. One group that is serious and will keep score, one group that wants to play scrabble or best ball type golf, and one group that will not keep score. The foursome will have to commit to one of these prior to starting.
Can non-Crossfire Premier families participate? Yes, this is a Charity Event focused on raising money for our Crossfire Premier Financial Aid Fund (formally called Scholarship Fund) and other program expansions. All are welcome.
I can’t find enough golfers for a foursome; can I register as a single? Yes, now that the field is almost full, we will try to facilitate grouping golfers into foursomes. Email barry@obrienhome.net and we will see if we can help.
Do I have to attend the Auction if I golf? No, your foursome captain will coordinate to find someone who wants to participate in the auction bidding in your place.
I don’t golf, how do I get an Auction/Dinner Dinner? If you do not want to golf but would like to attend the Auction/Dinner you will need to coordinate with your team’s auction captain. We will not know the exact number of Auction/Dinner Only tickets available until after the Sponsors and Golfer’s Spouse tickets are committed. Tables sill be set for eight.
How do I buy an Auction/Dinner Only ticket? These tickets will be coordinated through your Team’s Auction Captain. Sponsor and Spousal tickets are coordinated through your foursome captain.
Can I buy a great table at the Auction? Yes and No. Yes, if you are an Event Sponsor (Hole, Hole-In-One, etc.) and they receive a prime table placemetn. Tables are not available for purchase.
How much are the Auction/Dinner Only tickets? The Auction/Dinner Only tickets are $50 and availble to purchase on Tuesday, May 29th at the LWYSA office.
How much are you paying the Tournament staff? We are 100% volunteers. We are paid in Thank You’s and a successfully funded Financial Aid Fund. There are 53 Team Captains, 36 Foursome Captains, 8 Auction Directors, 2 Co-Chairs, and over 410 involved in the Auction Procurement Committee.
