(May 24, 2007) Crossfire Premier is excited to annouce that Bruce Snell and David Andrews, World Cup and Nationally recognized trainers, will be traveling with the Crossfire Premier teams to this years US Youth Soccer Region IV (West) Regional Championships being held at Betty Wilson Soccer Complex and Kellogg Zaher Sports Complex – Las Vegas, NV on June 18-24, 2007.
Bruce and David join a delegation of 7 Crossfire teams attending this years’ regional championships, including the 90 Lombard team who were the 2006 Region IV Champions for the Girls U15 age. Gaining the assistance of Bruce and David, as the teams seek to advance to the National tournament, is seen as huge benefit. Both were trainers at the World Cup in 2002 (Korea) and in 2006 (Germany) and have extensive experience with athletes at the highest level of competition on a national and international level.

From a club perspective this is the second time in recent years (last time in 2004) that Crossfire has sent at least 6 teams to the US Youth Regional Championships and with the addition of wildcard participant 94 T.Jenkins the first time the club has sent 7 teams to regionals. Additionally, except for first year participant 94 T.Jenkins (note U11’s are not eligible to attend so this is the first year they are even eligible to attend), each of the Crossfire teams have been to US Youth Regional Championships at least once and for the 89 James team this will be the 5th trip in 5 years. Teams are invited to attend by winning the US Youth Soccer Washington Championship or by being a finalist (wildcard attendees). Attending this year are;
