Sammamish River Trail Re-Leaf Effort
Local Saturday Community Project: 10/13

2007 Sammamish River Trail ReLeaf Habitat Restoration Event

Help make the Sammamish River and Trail a better place for people, fish, wildlife and birds. Rally your Crossfire team, family members, coworkers and friends and help restore native habitat along the River Trail.

At the Sammamish ReLeaf project, volunteers will (1) assist in removing non-native vegetation, thereby improving the growing conditions for native species, (2) mulch cleared areas, and (3) plant new native species in order to achieve greater plant diversity.

Just prior to beginning, volunteers will receive a brief plant tutorial and site history.

Join them on Saturday.  Call to let them know you are coming. All participants are required to complete paperwork.  Volunteers under 18 must have parent’s signature.  Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.  Check with each contact person to obtain volunteer paperwork.  Must of all bring a camera!
