The College planning workshop will be for every Crossfire player age U14 and above.
There will be four one hour sessions designed specifically for each grade level. Each session will be designed to address the specific needs of that age group.
We understand the college admission process may be complicated, but with the advice and insights from this interactive session, students and families learn how to play and win the Admission Game. In this informative, workshop, we give families an “inside look into what it takes and how to be organized”. The seminar will be an interactive meeting with “skits” that include the college interview, and the dos and don’ts of communicating with college coaches and admissions officers. The goal is to show how to become a top prospect for a fictitious college. In the process, participants learn the rules of the "game"; discover how to deal with the hidden agenda, and gain practical tips for finding their best college fit and getting scholarships.
Sessions will be held in one of the classrooms in the Starfire Sports Complex Main Building.
All U14 and U15 boys and girls (8th grade & Freshman)
10:00 AM to 11:00 AM
All U16 boys and girls (Sophomore’s)
11:00 AM to Noon
All U17 boys and girls (Juniors)
Noon to 1:00 PM
All U18 and U19 boys and girls (Seniors)
1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
