John Hannan To Join Crossfire Premier as New Coach

(January 3, 2008) John Hannan joins Crossfire from the Chicago Magic. John is a holder of a USSF “A” License, and was most recently the Assistant Director of Coaching for the Chicago Magic (IL).  He was a Division I NCAA head coach at Northeastern Illinois University.  Hannan played collegiately at Western Kentucky University where he was a defender or defensive midfielder and was named the “Student Athlete of the Year for Men’s Sports” in 1988.

While at the Chicago Magic, the club was ranked the number one club in the U.S. by Soccer America and by the Super Y League. Hannan currently serves as the Super Y League National ODP Technical Director and has taken teams to Switzerland, Germany and England. He has been on the National Staff of the US Club id2 Program and on the Regional Staff for USYS Region II ODP.

During his tenure with the Magic, the club won 15 National Championships, over 50 Regional Championships and over 80 State Cup Championships. He has past players that currently play in every MLS team in the country and abroad.
