Uniform Numbering Policy
The purpose of this policy is to insure fairness and prevent the expense of having to replace their uniform, should the player move to another team.  Players not following this process will be responsible for costs associated with renumbering.  The club has final decision authority on player number selection.

The U11 uniform numbers are distributed in a process that has the A team select their numbers first, then the B team, and so on.  The process ensures that there are no duplicate numbers in the age group should player movement occur.  The U11 number selection process typically takes about two weeks to complete.  Players on the C or D teams typically receive numbers starting in the mid twenties since some A and B team players select high numbers.   Players can only select one or two digit numbers. 0 and 00 are considered the same number.

Coaches typically determine how players are to select the numbers or make the selections for the players for their team.  Sometimes this is done be a skill or speed competition during a practice. Coaches have final say, should there be duplicate number requests. Once the list is handed to the next team, the selection process is final.

Returning players that have followed the above number selection process are able to retain their number or select another number in the A, then B, then C, D and Developmental Team process.

U12 and older players follow the same process, though most players retain their numbers and only new players select from the available options.

In order to stay in compliance with the child protection act there are no additional embellishments, including names, allowed on any uniform piece.
