Proposed Policy Revision on Uniform Stars / Embellionments
Crossfire Premier and our Sponsors would like to recognize the USYS National Championship Series Championship Cup (“State Cup”) Champions by approving the embellishment of gold and titanium stars on the right sleeve of the Crossfire Premier jerseys. Should a team decide to participate in this practice at their option, at thier sole cost, and the team must participate as a whole and embellish all jerseys in accordence with the Club’s standards and requirements, soley determiend by the Crossfire Premier’s Executive Board, Board of Directors, and Coaching Director.
Star Embellishments and Team Requirements:
- This is considered optional and the cost is the responsibility of the team.
- Only one gold star for each State Cup Champion U11-U19. At U11, only the champion of the highest level of statewide competition will earn the star. One titanium star for each USYS National Championship U15-U19.
- No embellishment of any kind is allowed for State Cup Wildcards (2nd place teams), FarWest Regionals Champions, USCS Regional Champions, teams under U11, or other association and/or league champions. However, teams may request approval from the BoD and DoC for additional embellishments/stars to their uniforms for US Club Soccer National Champions, USSDA National Champions, or ECNL National Champions.
- As uniform styles change, the placement and specifications of the stars may change. At each jersey style change, the Crossfire Board and DoC will provide the detailed specifications for each uniform to eligible teams.
- Teams are responsible for the cost of replacing jerseys if found out of compliance or displaying the wrong number of stars. Players that have star embellishments on their jerseys and leave that roster are not required to remove the stars when they leave the team.
- Stars are not cumulative across teams. If a player goes from a one star team to a two star team, their jersey would have two stars, not three.
- No additional embellishments or advertising of any kind is allowed on any part of the Crossfire’s complte uniform kit, including but not limited to jerseys, shorts, socks, under garments, warm ups, rain gear, back packs
In application, there may be situations which may raise questions around applying the policy. The final decision is the sole responsibility of the BoD and DoC.

National Championship - State Champion Patch
The USYS National Championship Series State Champion patch is to be sewn on the left shoulder of the white jersey. Should a player have received a prior year State Cup Patch, this patch is allowed to be sewn on the left shoulder of the darker jersey. Note that patchs will be removed and re-sewn to future jerseys. CAUTION: Do not iron on the patch, the jersey will melt.
- Only one State Cup patch may be worn on one uniform. Layer patches is not allowed.
- State Cup patches are not to be worn on Crossfire uniform shorts or warmups. Should a player have more than two State Cup patches, they may apply the extra patches to thier Crossfire backpack
