Playing for Crossfire

In the 2010 season, Crossfire has 68 Premier teams and over 12 speciality teams that are formed for various leagues, including Elite Clubs National League, Manchaester United, Super Y, Far West Regional and other league, ages U-10 through U-19. The Crossfire Premier soccer program provides training and development to qualified players to assist them in advancing to play at the highest levels of play available. Most local high school teams are chiefly comprised of players who have demonstrated their ability through our Advanced Development Programs. Our players move on to competitive collegiate careers, as well as, the US National teams and professional soccer careers in the US and Europe.

Program Summary
The Crossfire Premier Soccer Club provides professional training and player development to qualified players to assist them in advancing to play at the highest levels of play available in the state. Many of the local high school and college teams are chiefly comprised of players who have demonstrated their ability to improve their skills and tactics through Crossfire Premier. Crossfire Premier coaching has produced players that have risen above the Crossfire Premier levels and onto the National Residency Programs in Florida, the U17 and U20 US National teams, and onto careers in the European leagues.

The U.S. Soccer Development Academy (boys) provides the opportunity to play in major tournaments and showcases such as Nike, Disney, Dallas, Surf, Starfire and US Club Regional Play. USSDA players receive exposure to the top D1 college and university coaches and scouts. Players also participate in Crossfire college workshops and have access to an academic support staff. Players selected for the USSDA participate in this program instead of their previous premier team.

The Elite Clubs National League (girls) unites the top 18 Under-15 and 16 teams from across the country in the spirit of true competition and elite player development. The league consists of three weekend-long tournaments and then the ECNL National Championships. Crossfire’s age appropriate “ECNL” teams will compete in this league.

Crossfire Premier Soccer Teams (Boys and Girls) are part of a full-year soccer program that compete at the most competitive levels in the state as well as regionally and nationally. Crossfire Premier is the only Nike Premier Club in the State of Washington and one of only 30 in the US. We offer tryouts each spring to form girls and boys teams, ages 10-18. A team consists of 15-18 players for full field 11-a-side soccer and 13-14 players for 9-a-side soccer at U11. Teams play in age and competition level appropriate leagues including the Washington State Premier League (WSPL), Washington State Youth Development League (WSYDL), and the Player Development League (PDL). In the post-season teams play in one of three WSYSA state tournaments; the USYS Washington State Championships, the WSYSA Challenge Cup, or the Fred Meyer Commissioners’ Cup.

The intent of the Crossfire Youth Academy (Boys and Girls) is to aide in the development of players desiring play competitive soccer. The sessions are designed for highly motivated players who want to refine their skills. The skills and coordination that players develop at this age will serve as a foundation to for them to evolve into a premier level soccer player. The curriculum is intended to prepare boys for the Pre-USSD Academy and girls for the Pre-RBGNL Academy.

The Crossfire Jr. Academy (Boys and Girls) is designed for U7-U8 players that are looking to supplement their current training in order to improve their individual ball skill and touch. The curriculum is intended to prepare boys and girls for the Crossfire Youth Academy.

Crossfire Soccer Camps (Boys and Girls) provide an exciting opportunity for recreational as well as other players of all ability and interest levels to refine current skills, develop new skills and foster their passion for the game. Camp sessions are scheduled throughout the year and are usually held during Mid-Winter Break, Spring Break, and Summer Break.
