Through our partnership with The Sport Source®, Crossfire will assist our families with the college recruiting process in a timely and cost effective manner.
About Our Partner: Since 1989 The Sport Source® has been connecting coaches, players, individuals and organizations through their critically acclaimed college planning tools, college prep seminars and mentoring programs, all designed to assist student-athletes with the college search. In addition to The Sport Source®, Crossfire has chosen Sean Henderson as our in-house college liaison and he will work directly with The Sport Source® and our families to ensure each player has an organized approach to the college identification and selection process. Sean’s main role will be to assist the college coaches in communicating with Crossfire coaches regarding their interest in Crossfire players. As a Crossfire member each player will receive an age/grade appropriate college planning kit to ensure they are organized and ready to make a clear and concise chose when choosing a college or university. We will be organizing various college prep workshops throughout the year to assist everyone with navigating the college recruitment process.
From our website, you will also find that we have included the Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior timeline as part of this program and will update and provide additional tools and resources to make your experience more rewarding. In additionally, you will find an excellent player profile and cover letter to help players begin to market themselves to college coaches.
Remember college coaches are not recruiting agencies or parents they recruit players. So take a proactive approach, be persistent in your college and career pursuits and be prepared to choose the right college or university that best fits your needs.
