U-17 Academy Heads to Mexico City

With a midwinter lull in the Development Academy schedule, the Crossfire Premier U-16/17 DA squad is leaving for Mexico City this weekend, heading for an 8-day training camp in the capital city from January 12-20.

Organized by Crossfire’s international partner, SportChain, the team will have four training sessions and play four high-level friendly matches while in Mexico, while also seeing the sights of the world’s fifth most-populated city. The friendlies include matches versus the U-17 Academy teams from some of Mexico’s most renowned Liga MX clubs: Deportivo Toluca Fútbol Club, Club de Fútbol América and Cruz Azul. The group will also visit Estadio Azteca, the largest stadium in Mexico and home of both Club América and “El Tri,” the Mexican National Team.

All of the friendly matches will be streamed live on Crossfire’s MyCujoo Channel: https://mycujoo.tv/en/video/crossfire-premier-sc.
